hi john I'm doing a piece and I find that ill do one letter that I really like but then when i get to my second letter I cant replicate the stile, Any help???
very good question. i will make a video and link it to you. you want to start to think of the whole piece as one shape and not as individual letters, this way it will have the same style throughout as its all connected

Been looking through your content it’s my goal to be able to visualise then draw whatever I imagine do you have a recommended routine for someone who just got into graffiti and drawing characters? Any book recommendations or exercises ?
there is only one direction i can point to with 100% confidence and that is to buy one of King jung gi's art books ( omphalos is the best for what i recommend here) and just get a spare sketch book any copy the entire book page to page. he is the king of drawing anything from his imagination but can only do so because he has drawn from life way over 10,000 hours. I usually warm up from a book like i said to you for around 1 hour and then just look very quickly at some vague reference points and then build from there. with enough life drawing you can draw prett y much anythink because if you can draw a cat, you can kinda draw a tiger and if you can draw a bike, you can then more easily draw a motor bike if you understand what i am sayin. also can go out in the world and just draw things that give you a slight interest but do it from weird angles, if you do this yoru artwork will look more dynamic as your angle is unique aswell as the art. I can make a video on the topic if thats something you are interested in.

@@sotepniques it did. You see, I bought an iPad Pro and the first thing I wanted to do, to back into Procreate was revisit my old reaper concept. A cartoony thing that looks like a droplet that rises from the ground, with long arms, baggy sleeves and a large scythe, has a huge hunchback and a funny pointy hat like hood. But as I kept refining the sketch, I eventually had to refine the skull and I made the mistake of taking inspiration from the art of Darksiders. And now it looks half cartoon and half too serious. But now, with your skull ideas, I can create something that is more fitting, without having to redraw the whole thing.
